Oil filters
Long service lives and low maintenance costs are taken for granted with todays internal combustion engines. High-quality oil filters ensure that motor wear is avoided and that the oil quality is preserved. Oil filters have the task of holding back any dirt in the lubricating oil loop in the engine, which causes early wearing of the bearings. In this case, dirt is solid matter in any shape, structure and density, finely distributed in the oil. It consists of dust, oil carbon and soot, for example.

Spin-on Filters a Filter elements
The filter element and important valves for trouble-free operation of the motor, i.e. the return safety valve and the by-pass valve are integrated in a housing made of high-quality sheet steel. The entire unit is replaced for servicing.

Environmentally-friendly spin-on filter
The full-flow oil filter with integrated functions is a new, environmentally-friendly solution. This filter remains on the motor.

By opening the filter housing cover, the system is ventilated. The oil flows out of the filter back to the oil basin through a separate drain system. Disposal of the filter element with the smallest quantity of oil is environmentally-friendly. This solution, which is economical as well as environmentally-friendly, is becoming increasingly popular in the passenger car area as well.
